Exotica Tropicals will be open this week Wednesday 4/16 thru Saturday 4/19 from 9:30 AM to 2 PM.
The nursery will also be open next week Wednesday – Friday 4/23 – 4/25 (closed Saturday for Mounts Botanic Garden show)
We’ve got lots of crazy plants in stock- below is a photo of a new one- a sun loving viner called Gmelina philippensis, or “Parrot’s Beak” – the flower on this one is very unusual- it reminds me of the tropical Handkerchief Tree. Hanging pendant blossoms are a greyish green with bright yellow flowers. Very cool- it can also be trained as a tree or used in Bonsai.
Some other new arrivals include Rangoon Creeper- a colorful and beautiful vine, some large 7 gallon blooming Heliconia rostrata, Rainbow Eucalyptus and the very cool Flamingo Feather (aka Purple Cock’s Comb)
