Back in June 2008, I took this photo of my son standing under a blooming Heliconia Collinsiana. He was 5 years old at the time.
That clump of Collinsiana has been blooming like clockwork every summer since then, and I thought it was time to take a new version of the same shot- plus make a NEW shot with another little update in our lives since then
