We have a date for the FREE once-a-year Exotica Tropicals Garden Tour in Melbourne Beach. My HOA allows me to have a ‘yard sale’ but once a year and the date for 2015 is Sunday September 13th 2015 from 9:30 am to 1:00 PM
IF WEATHER IS BAD, WE WILL RESCHEDULE.
The self guided garden tour is free and I will be on hand to answer any questions about plants in the garden. Some notable specimens include a large mature and flowering/fruiting Sausage Tree, large Rainbow Eucalyptus, flowering Ylang Ylang Trees, huge Philodendron giganteum, x Evansii and subincisum. Many types of Palms, flowering Orchids, Anthurium, Cordyline, Heliconia and Ginger.
In addition to the Free Garden Tour- there will also be a unique selection of plants for sale- this will be a different selection of plant stock than is available at the nursery. Plants available for sale include unusual Cordyline, some large specimens of Philodendron subincisum, as well as many other rare and unusual Philodendron and Monstera. There will also be Heliconia, Gingers (including the elusive Belize Yellow Ginger, The new ‘Red Hybrid’ Costus Ginger, Indonesian Wax Ginger) and many other interesting specimens.
In addition to our mature & fruiting Sausage Tree (Kigelia africana) on site- we will also have Sausage Trees for sale!
This year I have been making alot of redesigns and changes to the garden to facilitate a greater growing capacity- the jungle is not as regularly manicured as usual and there are plants absolutley everywhere- and most of them are for sale. Its a chance to see the garden in its “natural state”

WHAT’S NEW AT THE NURSERY-
Rainbow Eucalyptus ON SALE- $39 for 4-5 footers in 3 gallon pots.
We’ve got some excellent specimens of Sausage Tree – these are over 6 feet tall in 3 gallon pots.
Speaking of awesome trees- we are down to our last two JOY PERFUME TREES (Michelia x Alba) these are the uncommon ones with the white flower that has an incredible fragrance.
Speaking of incredible fragrance, we also have a few of the VERY rare Tabernaemontana holstii – this is a shrub sized small tree that produces large white curly pinwheel flowers with an amazing fragrance that carries throughout the landscape.
We are also fully stocked with rare Philodenrons, Monstera, Plumeria, Ginger and Heliconia as well as many other interesting and unusual specimens.
