A very attractive Philodendron with an unusual leaf shape and a nice medium sized leaf. Excellent for hanging baskets.
As easy to grow as common Philodendrons, this rare beauty is much more exotic and exciting. Makes a great houseplant near a sunny window. Can also be grown outdoors in warm climates. ‘Florida Compacta’ has a similar leaf shape to P. ‘Florida’ and P. squamiferum, but the petiole is smooth and the leaves don’t get any larger than about the size of your hand. It is a robust grower and will fill out a basket quickly and trail over the edge. It can also be trained up a totem or support.
A healthy, well-rooted specimen in 4″ pot. Ready to be bumped up into a larger pot or planted outside.
Instructions for rooting and growing included.
